KartKeeper 2 Ô - A WEB based tracking system for returnable containers
What is it? –
KartKeeper2 tackles the problem of loss and low utilization of returnable
containers. Containers are marked with unique identification tags that can be
either optically read, RFID read or both. The tags are read by the KartKeeper 2 Ô smartphone
application at transaction points such as Delivery
and Pick Up of the containers. As the container is scanned the transaction
is immediately recorded centrally.
Authorized users can access their data through a common browser via the smartphone application, tablet, laptop or desktop. A variety of reports are provided as well as
data download capability to allow you to customize the reports for further
analysis.
Collaborative Involvement – It is important to
allow those entrusted with responsibility for the assets to help manage the
assets. This system records exactly
which container was delivered to exactly where, by whom and at what time. It enables the deliverer to record the event
immediately, accurately and with certainty.
The system also allows the client to be involved. They can request a
container pick up by scanning the container tag.
Supply Chain Sustainability – Using returnable
containers is in line with sustainability objectives unless a lot are lost or
